Regarding yesterday’s explosion of news over the lack of dedicated servers in Modern Warfare 2, one of the Infinity Ward forum community members sent a direct message to FourZeroTwo via Twitter.
TriggerPappy, the one who messaged FourZeroTwo for an answer, asked him if he had seen the petition signed by over 70,000 PC gamers and what his response to the chaos was. Unfortunately, FourZeroTwo kept his response short (due to the Twitter restrictions), and stated simply:

Unfortunately, it didn’t meet their standards, “But it really broke the cinematic experience, took the immersion out of it, out of the story and the pacing and everything we’d spent so long crafting. It just …

games.on.net: So, this is your baby? I’ve just been playing the hell out of it, it’s awesome!
Todd Alderman: Yes it is my baby, and thank you.
games.on.net: I have a concern though about the disparity between gamers that are about to play for the first time versus those that have levelled through the unlock system. With all these new features how do you ensure newcomers can come …
